Exploring the Cambodian countryside by bicycle is a great way to connect with local communities and fully immerse in the natural splendor of this fascinating country. Just north of Battambang Province, there is an excellent opportunity to discover and take part in many of the traditional cottage industries of the region. This will provide guests with a real taste of authentic Cambodian village life. In addition, it will allow interaction with rural families who make a living farming in the countryside.
We created a ‘Bat Cave Discovery’ program that takes visitors on an hour and a half bike ride before arriving at Phnom Sampov (Sampov mountain), with the option of taking a motorbike or walking up to the caves. Another exciting program we operate involves a full day of cycling through the charming city of Battambang. We learn how small family run businesses make a living and enjoy delicious delicacies as we stop to meet local families and passers-by.
