A day of soft adventure combined with cultural exploration and a relaxing river cruise. Covering a journey of approximately 20 km, guests explore a charming stretch of the Mekong River, venturing through remote local villages and blissful mountain scenery.
To get the blood flowing we then embark on a bike ride for 3-4 hours, passing through peaceful Laotian countryside to Pak Ou Buddha Caves. En route it is possible to stopover at Ban Xanghai village where locals produce Lao rice wine. It is then time to board the private and luxurious Mekong Riverboat for a downstream cruise. A picnic style lunch is served on board with the journey taking approximately two hours as we pass through countryside villages. If time and energy permit, we can stop at Ban Thin Hong weaving and fishing village, where guests have the opportunity to interact with locals and learn about rural Lao life and handicrafts.
