Group: 400 golfers from the Augusta National Golf Club
Brief: The VIP attendees were members of Augusta National Golf Club representing the Masters Tournament in the “Grow the Game” initiative of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship. Destination Asia Singapore were selected to provide all transfers, cocktail reception, spouse touring and logistics support for a gala dinner.
Destination Asia Singapore were responsible for delivering the exclusive cocktail reception at Ce La Vi on the 57th floor of the iconic Marina Bay Sands. Arrangements were made to secure private lifts that travel directly to Ce La Vi from Level 1 – in order to expedite the process. However we were unable to prevent the return to a basement (due to safety reasons), so the lifts had to be permanently manned to select the correct return floor and have them ready for different timed arrivals.
Another logistical challenge were the last minute changes on VIP shuttle timings, requiring our team to quickly assess the situation and react, amending the bookings to match their new timings.
