Destination Asia Thailand was recently responsible for the planning of a large scale event for a multinational foods company. Alongside the planning of the event, the meetings and incentive team were responsible for delivering daily programs, handling accommodation requirements, organizing meeting facilities, meals, transfers, CSR activities and a farewell dinner at Chakrabongse Villa.

The activities included a visit to Baan Klang Kret School where the group learnt about the history of the school before donating computers, tables and stationery. The second CSR initiative was held at the Foundation of Rural Youth (FRY). The group, together with Destination Asia delivered 80 boxed lunches to local children. Also presented was a new playground development project worth USD 9,900 and learning aid equipment amounting to USD 1,000.

In the evening a farewell dinner was organized at Chakrabongse Villa with a Thai theme that incorporated the company’s colors. A BBQ was set up on the terrace, taking advantage of the good weather, allowing extra space inside to set up a stage where four demonstrations of Thai arts culture were performed – including Khon mask making, silk weaving and fruit carving.
