Destination Asia Hong Kong Test New Foodie Tour

Destination Asia Hong Kong recently held its annual staff outing with the whole team escaping the office to try out a new Foodie tour itinerary with one of their guides named Albert – a chance for some product development with the whole team in tow.

The Walking tour took the team around the streets of Sheung Wan where they tried 24 spiced Herbal Tea (an acquired taste), BBQ Pork, past a snake wine shop keeper and into a local Dim Sum venue. They then headed up through Cat Street, past Man Mo Temple and along Hollywood Road, stopping for Sugar Cane juice and jelly as well as sugar puffs (like donuts) and egg tarts. To walk off all the food they went to check out the newly opened Tai Kwan, an awesome arts and culture space with great dining spots and sure to be both a MICE and Leisure favourite. From Tai Kwan the team headed back down into Central to grab some tasty dumplings before finishing off the afternoon with a tram ride to The Murray Hotel and sundowner cocktails on their awesome new rooftop bar Popinjays.
