Explore Myanmar Onboard the AmaPura

In response to the growing interest of Myanmar’s rich and treasure laden waterways, a new vessel is due to set sail at the end of 2014 to provide exceptional experiences and delve deep into the cultural history of this enthralling country.

The AmaPura is the first ship in the region to offer 28 all-suite cabins over two decks. Cruising along the Irrawaddy River, the ship maintains a very personal service with one crew member for every two passengers. The 56-passenger AmaPura is finished with French flair, providing full step-out balconies and cabins measuring 285-290 square foot, rising to 420 in the larger upper deck rooms.

Destination Asia Myanmar is offering a 10 night cruise onboard the AmaPura, setting sail from either Mandalay or Yangon and visiting a number of the country’s most revered destinations, including, Bagan, Magwe and Amarapura – the site of U Bein Bridge. We also introduce guests to Myanmar’s ancient handicrafts such as silver working and pottery making that still thrives today in rural areas.
