Head to the lively Hakone Farm – a potato, corn, cattle and dairy farm located in beautiful countryside just one hour south of Sapporo. Guests visit the farm to learn all about farming practices and agriculture in Hokkaido; you get to meet many of the animals on the way round and even get to try your hand at milking a cow! Hokkaido dairy products are considered the cream of the crop in Japan; a farm staff member will teach how to make fresh cream cheese that can be taken as a souvenir.
