Hong Kong was recently voted as the top destination in an industry excellence in business events survey by CEI magazine. The MICE centric magazine awarded Hong Kong the leading spot owing to its location and quality of facilities among other attributes. Positioned centrally between Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta and Seoul – and as a gateway to China, Hong Kong boasts one of the best locations for business events in Asia. CEI also commented on the outstanding quality of the city’s convention and exhibition venues and efficient infrastructure. In second and third place were Singapore and Bangkok respectively. Singapore observed for its first-class venues and commitment in meeting the diverse needs of business travelers – while Bangkok received praise for the professionalism of its convention bureau and cost-effective offerings.
