ICONSIAM is a vast development taking shape on the banks of Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River. The site currently covers an 871,200 sq/ft plot of land with one of the longest river frontages in Bangkok. A private pier and two public piers as well as six shuttle boats ensure easy access along the river. Among the riverside establishments that have joined forces with ICONSIAM are the Mandarin Oriental hotel, the Shangri La hotel, Asiatique the Riverfront and The Peninsula Bangkok hotel. The city administration is considering plans to create the longest riverside boardwalk in Bangkok, and ICONSIAM will create the largest community space by the river connecting it to the city’s boardwalk. With a gross floor area of 750,000 sq/m, it comes as no surprise that ICONSIAM will offer a wealth of retail experiences alongside a range of exceptional event spaces. ICONSIAM Hall will be located on the 7th floor, with full capacity of 3,000 persons and 8 breakout rooms with capacity of 40-200 persons in each room. ICONSIAM Hall has a 2,000 sq/m foyer overlooking the river.
