Indonesia Incentive Combines Rewarding Educational CSR Project

Embracing our CSR pillars, we always offer M&I groups the opportunity to include a beneficial project within their trip to Asia. These are extremely rewarding and often noted as a highlight of any journey.

Destination Asia Indonesia has been working closely with a school in Jimbaran, Bali that specializes in care for children with physical and mental disabilities, with a primary focus on deaf children. The school provides daily care for 283 children between the ages of 6 and 21, and 24-hour care for 60 children. A few weeks ago we suggested a building project at the school to a large international company visiting Bali as part of an incentive event. Matching with their own CSR values, they agreed to make a difference and committed to helping rebuild part of the school affected during recent earthquakes.

The group helped repair damaged ceilings, paint walls and redecorate areas with Balinese art decor to create a safe and inviting learning environment for the children. They also installed four new wash basins around the children’s playground area. At the end of the program, they surprised the school with 300 cups of gelato for all the children!
