Lumieres Hong Kong festival will make its first debut on 23, 24 and 25 November 2017 in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Hong Kong SAR establishment. Inspired by and in partnership with the mega Fête des Lumières de Lyon (France), Lumieres Hong Kong will feature three nights of mega-sized illuminations as light installations, video projections and art pieces reveal Hong Kong in a bright new light. Landmark sites and buildings around the city’s central areas will become the canvas for a number of renowned local and international light artists to interpret and showcase their vision of Hong Kong’s unique culture. Completely free, the festival will be offering activities and celebrations for all generations to rediscover this world city’s heritage and architecture through the medium of light.
