Menjangan Island is a small island and popular stopover for cruising programs around Bali. The island is located five miles northwest of Bali and is characterized by crystal clear seas, stunning coral reefs and unspoiled beaches. Destination Asia Indonesia has created a two day cruise program introducing travelers to this magnificent island that remains less visited than its neighbors.

Departing from Bajul Bay we board a unique Phinisi vessel or luxury yacht and head to Menjangan Island to snorkel in the translucent seas; or simply relax on board with a glass of wine.  Next we cross the Strait of Bali for Meren Harbor in Ketpang Banyuwangi, East Java, where a delicious evening meal is served before exploring the city of Banyuwangi by night on an Andong (horse cart) ride or by local Becak.

As night falls we set off on an Ijen night tour by 4WD Jeep, summiting the mountain to witness one of nature’s wonders – bright blue flames on the surface of the volcano that are only visible at night. The following day continues with further exploration of the glistening seas with plenty of delicious Balinese cuisine served on-deck.
