Mount Fuji Gran Turismo has Arrived in Japan

Japan_Activity 700x459Legendary dream cars. A volcanic landscape. Hairpin turns. Adrenalin rush. Mount Fuji: It’s Gran Turismo time Japan style. The thrill of raw engine power waits in Hakone’s national park as you take the wheel in your very own classic sports car.

Japan is a land of technological prowess, which is most apparent with its cars. From the elegant two-seat Nissan S30 coupe to the racing splendor of the Honda S2000 or the rally fame of a Subaru Impreza WRX, there’s a rich motoring heritage found on Japan’s roads. Our Gran Turismo experience incorporates cars by Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Porsche or Lotus.

Groups staying in Tokyo are picked up in the morning for a two-hour transfer to the rustic mountain town of Hakone. Located in the crater of a massive volcano, this area is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park and famous for its hot springs, natural beauty and sweeping views on Mount Fuji. There you’ll take the wheel of an iconic Japanese sports car and cruise the winding roads. A pace car will guide your convoy over some of the most breathtaking passes and hairpin turns snaking over the volcanic landscape. Real petrol-heads can test their driving mastery on an intensive course designed by local car fanatics. The experience allows a maximum of 20 people (10 cars with two passengers per car).
