The former Kyoto Kaikan Hall in Kyoto is reopening in January 2016 as the ROHM Theatre Kyoto, creating a venue suitable for medium to large sized conferences and meetings.

The center is located in the heart of the Okazaki area, surrounded by the Heian Shrine, museums and art galleries. After the revamp, it will offer three halls, a plaza, promenade and outdoor event area.  The multipurpose Main Hall can seat a maximum capacity of 2001 pax. The smaller South Hall can seat 715 while the North Hall facilitates 200 seated. A Park Plaza supplies cafes and restaurants within an open and relaxed environment that sits alongside the ROHM Square outdoor event area.

The development will be a welcome addition to the needs of the MICE market while also attracting great cultural and performing arts events.
