Nusa Penida Explorer

Let Destination Asia share the rugged beauty of Nusa Penida Island’s wilderness with your clients as we reveal its rocky cliffs and idyllic beaches. We recommend visiting the largest of the three Nusa Islands while enjoying accommodation on Nusa Lembongan. A local boat ride connects visitors to the neighboring island of Nusa Penida, the most exotic of the Nusa islands, owing to its collection of unique Hindu temples, unspoiled beaches and picturesque landscapes of cliff formations and lagoons.

Experience the extraordinary wilderness of Nusa Penida on a visit to the magnificent Kelingking Beach, taking in one of the most breath-taking views available on the islands. The dramatic view of white cliffs contrasted with azure blue water and rolling waves is one of the most photographed spots on the island. The bay also features a green limestone formation reminiscent of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The pristine beach itself can only be reached via a challenging 400m cliff-side hike that is recommended only for the fit and adventurous traveler.

We also visit Angel’s Billabong, the nearby Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) and Crystal Bay. Our return boat cruise to Nusa Lembongan is just as exciting, taking us past lush mangrove forests before reaching our final destination.
