Ritz-Carlton Plans First Golf Resort in China

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is planning its first golf resort in China on Hainan Island and expects to open the doors for business in late 2015. The 201 room resort with 21 private villas and a dedicated club house will be developed by the Mission Hills Golf Club and feature 10 world class golf courses.

The resort will be a luxurious addition to the Ritz-Carlton portfolio, with extensive meeting and events facilities amassing a total of 1,480 square meters of convention space. The property also includes five restaurants, tennis courts and two swimming pools.

The Ritz-Carlton Mission Hills is expected to attract luxury travelers and golf enthusiasts while providing exceptional services for families. Its location nearby to Haikou will strengthen its reputation as a hub for business and tourism, an area already renowned for its white sandy beaches and historic sites of interest.
