Traditional Myanmar Dance Interlude

Traditional music and dance performances from Myanmar are an import element to all festivals that take place in the country. The Hsaing Waing is a traditional Burmese folk musical ensemble consisting of a number of different gongs and drums, as well as other instruments depending on the nature of the performance.

For a small VIP or event group in Yangon, we can offer a unique exclusive experience consisting of a traditional Myanmar dance performance during dinner. The private dance troupe is made up of 10 performers who are members of Kyaw Moe Hlaing – the most accomplished performing arts group in Yangon. They will perform a wide variety of traditional dance routines, each incorporating perfected hand, neck and head postures which hold significant meaning. Puppets and ornate colorful costumes consisting of bright ceremonial dresses and uniforms help create a dazzling show. Performances feature live music such as flutes, drums, harps and other percussion instruments.
