David Andrews (Group marketing & communications director) and Guy Allison (Thailand product manager) received certificates for completing their Travelife training in Bangkok. They have been busy working with Travelife to gain certification for Destination Asia Thailand, showing the company’s commitment towards sustainability.

As an engaged Travelife member, Destination Asia must meet the standards of over 200 sustainability criteria that can be grouped into five key areas: Office operations; Product development; Working with suppliers; Customer relations and destinations.

There are three stages of Travelife certification for tour operators and travel agents: Travelife Engaged; Travelife Partner and Travelife Certified. Through regular training, raised awareness and developing a culture of sustainable management and best practice guidance, Destination Asia aims to achieve certification, the third and highest level.
