No More COVID-19 Test Requirements to Enter Thailand

It’s the news we had all been waiting for! Since 1 May 2022, fully vaccinated international travellers are no longer required to take a PCR COVID test on arrival or during their stay in Thailand.  All visitors are still required to apply for a Thailand Pass (via https://tp.consular.go.th/) and must provide evidence of their vaccination status and be in possession of insurance coverage of at least USD 10,000. Once arriving in Thailand, they will be allowed entry and are free to travel anywhere in the kingdom.

International travellers who are unvaccinated or are not fully vaccinated will also no longer be required to show proof of a pre-arrival negative PCR test nor undergo an arrival test. However, they are required to register for a Thailand Pass with a 5-day hotel booking and an insurance policy with coverage no less than US$10,000 (reduced from US$20,000). Upon their arrival in Thailand, they must undergo a 5-day quarantine take a PCR test on Day 5. Alternatively, unvaccinated travellers who upload proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of travel via the Thailand Pass system will be allowed entry and are free to travel anywhere in the kingdom.

Please refer to our roadmap to reopening for more details and the conditions applicable to vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers.

We look forward to welcoming you and your valued guests back to Thailand very soon. Updates on the latest entry requirements for all the countries and destinations within our network are available here.
