PuXuan Hotel Opens Its Doors in Beijing

The PuXuan Hotel & Spa has opened its doors in Beijing, becoming the latest project for Urban Resort Concepts (URC). Designed by German architect Ole Scheeren, the luxury hotel completes the new Guardian Art Centre in an iconic building at the intersection of Wangfujing Street and Wusi Street, a symbolic crossroads of commerce and arts. Only minutes away from the Forbidden City and Beijing’s main commercial and shopping district, The PuXuan Hotel and Spa is a true gem in the very nerve center of the Chinese capital.

The design of the hotel does not just celebrate an aesthetic; it celebrates the city out of which it was born. The property offers respectively 92 and 24 spacious and luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites, many with uninterrupted views of the Forbidden City. The hotel’s artwork has been curated by the Guardian Art Centre and features some of the finest contemporary Chinese art in the region.
