Paddle through the floating Torii Gate
Miyajima Island is undoubtedly one of the most serene and beautiful sites in Japan. An island steeped in historical tales, its mystery is only added to through the World Heritage site of Itsukushima Shrine (‘floating’ Torii gate). No longer must you admire these breathtaking sights from afar as we take guests out onto the water in kayaks and up close to these instantly recognizable attractions. Under the guidance of a qualified instructor we paddle around Miyajima Island in Hiroshima, before approaching the ‘floating’ Torii gate to paddle through the middle of it.
Lake boats across Inle
Inle Lake is one of the most frequented destinations in Myanmar, owing to the lake’s rural charms, its wooden homes perched precariously above the water and villages that sustain generations-old cottage industries. InDevi Lake Boats provide peaceful and luxurious lake boat services – ‘InDevi’ translates to, ‘Goddess of the Lake’. A junk is an ancient Chinese sailing ship design that can be seen sailing today in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour. The Aqua Luna Junk provides a 45 minute scenic loop of Victoria Harbour from 5:30pm – 10:30pm every evening – or enjoy a full day of sailing from Victoria Harbour to Stanley on the weekend. Its iconic red sails are memorable of any visit to Hong Kong, while its comfortable lounges provide the ideal place to relax with a drink in hand and unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Cruise the Singapore River
Take a peaceful electric-powered bumboat ride on the Singapore River and drift comfortably into the history of early Singapore as seen through its colonial architectural landmarks, bridges and beautifully-restored riverside warehouses that contrast excitingly against the modern skyscrapers of the city’s financial district. The city comes to life along the river where restaurants, museums and offices cross paths. On passing the Merlion, the exciting skyline of the city’s iconic Marina Bay comes in to full view.
