Eco-wellness lodges open in Phong Nha

A new collection of eco-wellness lodges is set to open in late 2026 within Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, offering visitors a new way to experience one of Vietnam’s most extraordinary natural landscapes.

Located in the UNESCO-listed national park, home to Son Doong, the world’s largest cave, the development features 30 all-inclusive tented lodges inspired by the Vietnamese legend of Au Co. Designed to blend into the surrounding environment, the lodges provide a peaceful base from which to explore the park’s ancient forests, dramatic limestone mountains and world-renowned cave systems.

Guests can personalise their stay with programs centred on wellness, adventure or a combination of both. Days can begin with open-air yoga or sound healing before continuing with guided cave explorations, jungle treks and visits to nearby communities, offering opportunities to connect with both the landscape and the region’s local culture.

The experience extends to the property’s culinary offering, where seasonal ingredients and locally inspired flavours celebrate central Vietnam’s rich food heritage. Sustainability also plays a central role, with solar-powered operations, EDGE Advanced certification and environmentally conscious design helping to minimise the property’s impact on its surroundings.

Blending nature, wellbeing and adventure, the new lodges offer a thoughtful addition to central Vietnam itineraries and an opportunity to discover one of the country’s most remarkable UNESCO World Heritage landscapes.
