Lao Airlines plans to operate direct flights next March from Vientiane capital and northern Laos’ Luang Prabang to Kumamoto prefecture in Kyushu of Japan, after getting the green light from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau.
NamKhan means “water” and “river” in Lao, and is also the name of the river on which this sustainable project is located. The NamKhan Project aims to both preserve and promote the culture of Laos and its ties to the land and nature.
The Laos eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that will be launched by the government of Laos in June 2019. A valid Laos visa online will allow citizens from eligible countries to visit Laos for tourism purposes.
