Studio Ghibli touches down in Singapore

The groundbreaking Studio Ghibli animation studio has truly taken the world by storm since its birth in 1985, growing a global fanbase that runs into millions with its beloved, critically acclaimed, strangely quirky and multi-award winning animated films. Now, after several stops across east Asia, the amazing Studio Ghibli exhibition is in Singapore from 4 October to 2 February.

Visitors get the opportunity to encounter some of their favourite characters from 11 of the studio’s most famous films, in a series of 16 stupendous large-scale sets, with magical scenes from Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke and more, all coming to incredible, vivid life. As well as the enthralling sets, there are interactive art installations and activities, offering a chance to learn more about Studio Ghibli’s extraordinary characters and stories.

It’s being staged at the ArtScience Museum, Marina Bay Sands, and tickets are now on general sale.
