A Singapore landmark re-imagined as a stunning hotel

Rising majestically at the peak of Fort Canning Hill, the iconic Fort Canning Hotel has been reborn as METT Singapore, offering guests a fresh blend of neoclassical charm and contemporary luxury. The property reopened on 28 October following a 10-month refurbishment and marks the METT brand’s first outpost in Asia, complementing an exclusive portfolio of exceptional properties in Bodrum, Marbella, Barcelona and Milan.

Sunset Hospitality Group, known for notable concepts such as Sushisamba Singapore, commissioned acclaimed designer Jeffrey Wilkes to lead the transformation. Building on his experience renovating parts of the Mandarin Oriental Singapore, Wilkes has ensured that his distinctive style is evident throughout METT Singapore. The deep blue color palette, a Wilkes trademark, flows seamlessly across contemporary interiors, sleek furnishings and botanical-inspired wallpaper. Guests will notice subtle details that reflect the designer’s attention to every element, from the in-room coffee machines to wardrobe accessories.

The hotel offers 84 rooms and suites set within the lush, original Fort Canning landscaped gardens. Guests can enjoy a full range of health and wellness facilities along with world-class dining and cocktail destinations. At the heart of the property is the award-winning Art di Daniele Sperindio restaurant, where culinary excellence meets refined design to create an unforgettable experience.
