The coastal village of Sanur on the island of Bali is known for its long white sandy beaches and calm, shallow waters. Originally a fishing village, it still retains much of its traditional charm, with small fishing boats lining the shore and fishermen casting their nets into the sea. It offers a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, making it a great destination for those seeking a more peaceful break away from the crowds of other popular tourist areas.
As an extra reason for heading there, we’ve introduced e-bikes to whisk visitors around the area, quickly, comfortably, and of course sustainably. The route heads along the glorious beach, stopping to visit traditional houses and temples, explore a local market and discover a turtle conservation centre. There’s also an opportunity to park the bike and take a fascinating walk through a mangrove forest to experience Bali’s rich biodiversity.
