Originally from Madrid, Spain, Miguel earned his degree in Marketing & International Business Sales before embarking on an exciting journey to Australia, where he resided in the cities of Sydney and Brisbane. During his time there, he developed a deep fascination for Asian cultures, which eventually led him to settle in the vibrant city of Bangkok more than a decade ago. Immersing in Thai culture, Miguel recently developed a passion for boxing, so when he isn’t creating new ways to journey through Asia, you might catch him at his local boxing club in the heart of Bangkok.

Leveraging his expertise in travel to Asia and fluency in Spanish and Portuguese, Miguel will bring a fresh and distinct perspective to our collection of travel experiences, while ensuring the exceptional level of service for which we are known. Prior to joining Destination Asia, Miguel worked for an Asia-focused DMC and a luxury brand hotel, holding leadership positions including General Manager and Head of Business Development.
