One of Asia’s biggest competitive ice hockey competitions, the Mega Ice Hockey 5’s, was a real thriller and a highlight of the Hong Kong sporting calendar last year. The 2025 version promises to be even bigger and better. And best of all, admission is completely free.
This year, over 80 teams will come from all over the world to test their skills at the state-of-the-art Mega Ice facility in Kowloon, with youth division games taking place on 21-27 April and the adult tournament on 29 April to 4 May .
Featuring teams at all levels from emerging talents to accoladed champions, the electrifying matches are filled with intense rivalries, extraordinary skills, and some truly breathtaking plays. While it is an enthralling spectacle, the Mega Ice Hockey 5’s also emphasises teamwork, sportsmanship, and cross-cultural exchange as it continues to grow this increasingly popular sport in Asia.
