Dine among ancient royalty at Cambodia’s Ta Keo temple

Venue: Prasat Ta Keo temple

Capacity: Up to 500 guests

Prasat Ta Keo was built in 1,000 AD as a tribute to Cambodia’s King Jayavarman V and is found in the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park. Perfect for incentive, leisure, and cruise groups this venue is available all year round, with November to May being the driest months.

A short 30-minute drive from Seam Reap, this temple is an impressive five-tier pyramid with a series of overlapping terraces. Unlike most sacred sites in south east Asia, its facade is completely devoid of carvings. Legend has it that it was struck by lightning during construction, which the craftsmen took as a sign to leave it unadorned. Yet this lack of decoration somehow makes it all the more majestic and imposing.

The Aspara Authority recently granted special permission allowing dining experience at Prasat Ta Keo and for larger groups, a dinner at this magnificent pyramid is a truly unforgettable occasion.
