Hong Kong’s AIA Carnival Makes a Spectacular Return this Winter

After almost four years, the city’s much loved annual winter tradition is returning to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel and AIA Vitality Park at the Central Harbourfront – and it promises to be bigger, brighter and better than ever this year.

In support of HKSAR Government’s Hello Hong Kong and Happy Hong Kong campaigns, the AIA Carnival will take place over the first mask-free Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year in recent years, which makes it just that little bit more special and adds one more reason to celebrate. While the content is still a closely guarded secret, the event organisers and long-term lead sponsor AIA Hong Kong are excited about the revitalised array of elements, surprises and attractions they’ve lined up for this year’s event. The details will be shared in full when tickets go on sale in late September.

An official clock has been installed at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel and is now counting down the days, hours and minutes to opening day. This is going to be quite a party and a true highlight of the year – so get planning now!
