Thailand hotels recognised in Michelin Key awards

Michelin, widely regarded as the world’s top authority on restaurants, recently expanded its prestigious ratings to include hotels. In September, its inaugural Michelin Keys selection for Thailand awarded a total of 58 hotels across the country, from vibrant city retreats to serene beach and countryside escapes.

Hotels are evaluated based on five universal criteria: excellence in architecture and design, quality and consistency of service, distinctive personality, value for the price, and meaningful contribution to the location. Hotels awarded one key offer an extraordinary stay, two keys signify an exceptional stay, and the ultimate three-key rating is reserved for properties that are true destinations in their own right.

Eight hotels received the coveted three-key rating in destinations including Mandarin Oriental and The Siam in Bangkok, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, and Soneva Kiri in Koh Kood. Nineteen hotels earned two keys, representing many flagship luxury brands, and an additional 31 received one key, showcasing a diverse range of hotels nationwide.

Full listings are available on the Michelin website and our Thailand reservation team can assist with bookings and further details on these top-tier selections.
