Formula One at night is a great spectacle and Singapore has perfected the formula with not only the races (three each night Friday to Sunday), but also a music festival surrounding the event extending from Wednesday night to Sunday.
From this year 2017, the highlight entertainers were Ariana Grande, Duran Duran and the Chain Smokers plus a roster of about 20 other acts that performed in the various stages surrounding the race route. This incomparable route extends from the East side of the Marina District crossing historic Anderson Bridge, past several iconic hotels and back to the pit lane.
A four-year extension for Formula One was announced prior to the recent event, ensuring that F1 will continue in the Lion City until at least 2021. The dates for 2018 Singapore F1 are 14-16 September and early bird tickets are now on sale.
