We are delighted to announce that Destination Asia Singapore’s Corporate Meeting and Events (CME) team received the highly regarded award of Best Meetings/Incentive Organiser for their Philips Asia Pacific program delivered in 2017.
The award was presented by Lionel Yeoh, chief executive of the Singapore Tourism Board on stage at the Singapore Tourism Awards ceremony in the Fairmont ballroom on 8 May 2018. Receiving the award on stage from Destination Asia were Daniel Tay and Bob Guy, with their client Charlotte Ong also invited.
Destination Asia Singapore was responsible for co-managing all aspects of the event jointly with Philips Asia-Pacific marketing team. Their role included, developing the creative concept, sourcing all set designs, launching and managing an app (to reduce paper wastage) and implementing event management teams to oversee and deliver activities.
TTG Asia, a regional travel trade newspaper wrote of the award, “For Destination Asia Singapore, which clinched the Best Meetings/Incentives Organiser award for Philip’s Asia Pacific Customer Event 2017, its goal was clear; to have a dedicated team that continually exceeds the expectations of the client and its attendees, keep the customer satisfied and maintain the relationship for years to come.”
