Eastern Cambodia Encounters

Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the relatively unknown and seldom visited Eastern region of Cambodia.

We have created a captivating five day experience that delves deep into the jungle terrain, revealing crumbling temples, stunning waterfalls and a unique way of life. As guests depart the capital of Phnom Penh on a journey to Mondulkiri Province, they will notice there are few tourists to be seen.

Leaving the tarmac roads behind, we take to dirt tracks shared with ox carts and other traditional transport types. Mondulkiri Province is home to the greatest concentration of elephants in Cambodia and we get up close to these gentle giants, trekking through the forest with them while visiting minority tribes who share little similarities to the modern civilization we know.

Our journey continues to Busra where the landscape changes once again. Expansive rice paddies create open vistas, pierced by arrow straight palm trees to create a distinctive Cambodian landscape. Our local guides tell the stories behind ancient temples and explain how locals work the land to make a living. Leaving dry land we sail down the Mekong River to spot the endangered Irrawaddy River Dolphin – and while we can’t guarantee their sighting, our knowledgeable guides have a sharp eye and know exactly where to look. Sailing back to Phnom Penh via Kampong Cham, this enlightening experience of Eastern Cambodia will leave every guest with spectacular lifetime memories.
