Brief: A VIP experience that touches the history of Cambodia through day touring and a memorable gala dinner. Privatized venue for a cocktail reception and welcome dinner; then a final gala dinner event at a temple.
While we aim to streamline the process for our clients by providing a single point of contact for all enquiries at Destination Asia Events – the team in Cambodia managing this event had to work with four contacts whom represented the agent and end client. There were a number of instances where information was duplicated and keeping track of all elements became an increasingly difficult task.
Adding to this, final confirmation of the gala dinner venue was delayed with decisions changing multiple times. We risked the temple dinner location being cancelled by the authorities – but owing to our close working relationship we managed to keep it open as long as possible till final confirmation was received.
The Destination Asia Events team had to strike a careful balance between offering the client flexibility and presenting them with deliverable options whilst also keeping suppliers and the temple authorities happy. Ultimately, the dinner was a huge success and the group were overjoyed by the entire experience.
