Destination Asia Indonesia are delighted to announce that our Travelife certification has been extended, until August 2025. This is truly an important milestone, as it culminates months of dedicated hard work to support sincere and heartfelt commitment to sustainable tourism practices.
Renowned as the industry’s leading, most prestigious international sustainability certification, Travelife recognises and applauds efforts in corporate, social, cultural and environmental responsibility. Certification ranges over more than 250 criteria, covering aspects including office management, supply chains, product offerings and customer information. These metrics also take into account environmental initiatives, biodiversity preservation efforts, human rights and labour relations.
To secure the extension, the team undertook comprehensive evaluation and was required to prepare
in-depth reports, as well as participating in online training by Travelife and welcoming an onsite audit to validate the submission.
The teams continued commitment to extending the Travelife certification reaffirms the leading role Destination Asia want to take in promoting responsible and sustainable tourism practices, in Indonesia and beyond.
