Innovative jewellery workshop in Siem Reap

Explore the art of Cambodian jewellery-making at Ammo, a social enterprise in Siem Reap that empowers locals by training them in ancestral jewellery-making. Led by senior designer, Chantrea, the centre trains apprentices using traditional equipment and tools to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Using bullets as a base metal for jewellery has been practiced in Cambodia for over 20 years. These bullets are not from war but simply used blank cartridges recycled from local practice ranges. Guests are warmly invited to join a class and work alongside a skilled Khmer jeweller to create their own masterpiece to take home. A fascinating experience that contributes to the community and creates long-lasting memories.
