Group: 23 team members of a leading online video-sharing platform based across APAC; 18 were based in Singapore with three joining in from Japan, one in Chennai, and one in Sydney.
Brief: To encourage team interaction following a strategic planning session with a Picasso inspired workshop.
On-hand to help make the transition from face-to-face meetings and events to virtual and hybrid as easy and seamless as possible, our event experts at Destination Asia Singapore were set the task of delivering an online painting workshop to help team members reenergize and reconnect following a full day of offsite strategic planning.
At the time of the event, the Destination Asia Singapore team was working from home and required all material kits to be delivered to a team member’s home address. Once delivered, the kits were immediately prepared and sent out to the participants via DHL to ensure safe delivery. In the case of the kits not arriving in time, an alternative plan of using iPads was already in place. Fortunately, this was not needed as all of the material kits were promptly delivered to the participants’ home addresses.
The workshop was tailored for beginners and was one hour in duration with an additional 15-minute briefing session. After an afternoon of painting, the participants happily showed off their paintings onscreen and emerged energized and invigorated with a boost in morale and a strong sense of camaraderie collaborative culture.
