Many visitors to Kyoto wish to see one of its iconic towering bamboo forests but in recent years Arashiyama, the most popular choice, has become a little crowded. We help your clients to escape from the crowd by taking them further afield to Rakusai Bamboo Park, a far quieter alternative known only to locals and the more determined adventurer.
After exploring the bamboo forest, clients have the chance to visit a bamboo master in his workshop and learn about bamboo craft for themselves. There is also the option of a bamboo-themed lunch if clients really want to get to grips with the versatility of the plant!
