Cardamom Tented Camp in Botum Sakor National Park is one of the most impressive tented camps in Cambodia, located roughly halfway between Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville. Inspired by Meru-style bush camps from Africa, the tents in this pristine part of Cambodia’s lowland tropical forest come complete with hotel-standard bedding and a fully functional bathroom. They also include gas-powered immersion showers, offering a high level of comfort in the wilderness while treading lightly on this precious environment.
Activities on offer range from kayaking to jungle treks to ranger stations where wildlife releases are fairly common thanks to the camps close partnership with leading wildlife NGO Wildlife Alliance.
