This half-day experience delves into the world of art in Ho Chi Minh City to reveal a fascinating history of painting, sculpting and other creative arts. It’s not just the paintings that catch our eye though as sites such as the Fine Arts Museum reveal the wonderful elements of Sino-French architecture. An art specialist welcomes clients and provides a comprehensive introduction to Vietnam arts history. Clients listen on intently as they learn about the work of North and South Vietnamese artists, from pre and post-reunification.
We also visit contemporary Vietnamese art gallery – the Craig Thomas Gallery, founded in 2009. Craig Thomas Gallery represents numerous award winning contemporary Vietnamese artists working in painting, sculpture and mixed media. Our final stop is at The Factory Contemporary Art Center, a dynamic center for artists who are illustrating the creative psyche of Vietnam today.
