Yu Zaw from our sales team at Destination Asia Myanmar recently joined one of our insightful trishaw tours that are always a hit with travelers to Myanmar. The destination was a small town located in the outskirts of Yangon that’s home to a thriving artisan neighborhood. Each house features a family business with a few employees where souvenirs can also be purchased. Those who join will explore a jade carving house, wood carving workshop, watch traditional Burmese harp makers at work, admire 3D straw-paintings in an artist’s home and finally see artisans at work in a clay pottery workshop.
