GranMonte Vineyard is a family-run estate in Thailand that welcomes visitors from all corners of the globe with a friendly, hospitable service. Few people know that Thailand has a number of operational vineyards where visitors can join a winery tour with tasting. Asoke Valley is a working vineyard in Khao Yai National Park and is an excellent, often unexpected experience within a few hours’ drive from Bangkok.
The program lasts approximately one and a half hours, and consists of exploring the vineyard in a comfortable tour trailer, where all viticulture techniques, climate, soil and grape varieties are explained by a local guide. In the Asoke Valley Winery guests will see winemaking operations (depending on the time of the year), fermentation tanks, the barrel room with beautiful oak barrels and of course taste a range of delicious award-winning wines accompanied by cheese and crackers.
