A tycoon’s residence turned restaurant in Tsukiji

Venue: Tsukiji Jisaku

Capacity: Up to 150 guests

Originally built in 1899 for the esteemed Iwasaki family, founders of Mitsubishi, Tsukiji Jisaku is a residence turned legendary restaurant. Walking distance from Tsukiji Market, the heartbeat of Tokyo’s culinary scene, the restaurant is now helmed by a renowned Japanese chef, Jisaku Honda.

Visitors, which have included many luminaries and business guests, are thrilled and enthralled to step into this amazingly tranquil venue, surrounded by expansive Japanese gardens and a picturesque pond where carp swim. In a series of stately and quintessentially Japanese rooms, Tsukiji Jisaku offers kaiseki-ryori, a traditional multi-course feast crafted from fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally. The speciality, perhaps, is tori-no-mizutaki, a delectable concoction of chicken and vegetables simmered in a special broth, a recipe handed down through generations. Not to be missed!

The recipe has developed a well earned reputation for catering with care and special attention for meeting and event delegates. From the moment you step inside, it’s easy to see why.
