Alcohol Ban Revised for Temple Dinners

We are pleased to inform you that the alcohol ban at the Angkor Archeological Park that was due to be enforced from 1 January 2020, has now been revised by the Apsara Authority.

The ban now only affects the largest and most prominent temples including Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Preah Kahn, Ta Prohm and Phnom Bakheng, among others. However the ban does not apply to smaller outlying temples including beautiful Prasat Kravan and Thommanon (built by the same king as Angkor Wat). These two magnificent temples are the sites Destination Asia Cambodia use for our spectacular temple gala dinners.

A temple dinner at an ancient Angkorian temple is one of the most spectacular and special events you can experience in Southeast Asia, so the revision to the alcohol ban is welcome news.
