After a film shoot that has taken ten months and covered over fifteen relatively unknown locations in Vietnam, the Destination Asia Vietnam media team completed the last part of their project ‘On the Roof of Vietnam’ – paying homage to the country’s spectacular natural mountain landscapes around Ha Giang province.

Blessed with magnificent plays of light over the mountains and valleys, the film closes with the great rice harvest of the Far North and the remote ethnic minority market of Lung Phin. The travel documentary will enter post production at the end of the year with an expected release date of mid-2015.

The video forms part of a unique project to showcase the enigmatic destinations of Vietnam and Cambodia in a way never seen before – leading the way in how tourists can gain insight to these bewildering countries. These videos are pioneering promotional tools that set a new standard within the tourism industry.
