Fighting Hunger in Cambodia

While there have been few infections in Cambodia, the tourism industry has been hit hard and thousands have lost their jobs. To help those most in need, the Landmine Relief Fund working with the Rural Schools Village Program has initiated a food distribution program and aims to provide 1,000 relief packages per month for at least the next four months.

Destination Asia Cambodia General Manager, Jason Blackwell, has been rolling up his sleeves to help the Landmine Relief Fund and helping with the loading and unloading of 50kg sacks of rice, which are then divided into smaller 10kg sacks and distributed those in need along with parcels of noodles, sauces, salt, and sugar.
