Hong Kong’s Starlit Swire Symphony Returns

Swire Symphony Under the Stars, the Hong Kong Philharmonic’s yearly musical extravaganza, is scheduled to take place again this year at the Central Harbourfront Event Space on 18 November, starting at 19:30 pm.

Symphony Under the Stars is a fabulous event for several reasons: it’s free, it’s outdoors, it’s next to Victoria Harbour and it brings a unique opportunity to be immersed in classical music from the award winning Hong Kong Philharmonic. It’s no surprise that this iconic evening attracts over 15,000 people every year! In previous years, the varied program of orchestral favourites have included incredible live performances of Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries, John Williams’ Star Wars and Strauss’s Blue Danube, to name just a few. It’s an unforgettable evening that ends with spectacular fireworks lighting up the city’s skyline.

Symphony Under the Stars is a family friendly affair, and kids are very welcome to attend. Seats are provided for all concertgoers, but we do suggest you get there early if you want to be close to the stage!
