Indonesia streamlines arrivals with new digital entry system

Indonesia has introduced a modern, unified digital arrival card called All Indonesia. Designed to simplify entry procedures for international travellers, this new system merges the former health pass, customs declaration, and immigration details into one streamlined form.

The All Indonesia Arrival Card is free of charge and became mandatory at the country’s key entry points Bali, Jakarta, and Surabaya, from 1 September. From 1 October 2025 it will also be required at all remaining international airports, land borders, and sea entry points across the country.

Travellers can complete the form online within 72 hours before their flight and will receive a QR code to present upon arrival. Important points to note:

  • The All Indonesia Arrival Card is a mandatory requirement for all international travellers.
  • It is not a visa and does not replace the need to secure the correct visa depending on nationality and travel purpose.
  • The form can be completed free of charge online, and presenting the QR code on arrival speeds up the entry process.

For visitors travelling to Bali, please note that the Bali tourist levy is a separate requirement. Introduced in February 2024, this levy supports environmental preservation and cultural heritage on the island. Payment can be made online in advance or on arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
