Roku Kyoto, the first LXR in the Asia-Pacific region opened in 2021. It is located in Northern Kyoto close to Kinkakuji temple where visitors can immerse themselves in some of the world’s most spectacular natural surroundings. Roku actually has two meanings, ‘foot of a mountain’ and ‘traditional craft of making handmade Japanese paper’, both of which are entwined with the property.
